• A consultant will review and evaluate existing conditions and propose alternate repair and/or replacement design solutions
   
• They will prepare appropriate specifications, drawings, construction and contract documents relative to the design solutions to ensure a competitive bidding process
   
• All  the necessary site meetings with the client and/or contractors prior to, during and post construction are a function of the consultant
   
• A consultant will ensure that qualified construction monitors are on site to conduct quality control inspections to confirm that the installation procedures comply with the specifications and design intent of the contract documents
